Amanda Bertolo, M.A, RP, CCC Registered Psychotherapist & Owner of Well Mind Therapy.

Amanda Bertolo is the founder of Well Mind Therapy, a Registered Psychotherapist, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. With a master's degree in Counselling and additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and addiction treatment, she has over a decade of experience providing individual counseling in various settings, including hospitals, addiction treatment centers, and mental health organizations. Amanda's therapeutic style emphasizes the importance of connection and explores how past experiences shape clients' lives, helping them develop coping skills and gain insights for healing. Her approach is empathetic, warm, and non-judgmental, fostering trust and true connection with her clients. Beyond her work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her two children.

I help adults and teenagers who are affected by anxiety and depression, increase their self-esteem and self-worth, and have healthier relationships. I do this by helping you identify where your feelings and thoughts are originating from, and how we can break the recurring cycle. I use psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy to help you identify this cycle and incorporate cognitve-behavioural therapy and mindfulness to help maintain the changes, in order to take control of your emotions and live a more fulfilling life.
